AUTTO generates analytics reports that show the number and percentage of users who attempt using and completing a published workflow, and the amount of time it takes users to make it through the workflow's nodes. The analytics reports can be saved or downloaded as a PDF file, allowing further analysis of workflows outside the system. This article discusses analytics in AUTTO in more detail.
NOTE: From the Data tab, AUTTO also logs the number of times a workflow is executed and saves the data it gathers every time it is executed. Downloadable as a CSV or XLSX file, this data is available from a published workflow's Data tab. For more information, see Viewing Workflow and User Data.

Viewing Analytics Data
Analytics data for published workflows can be viewed from the Data tab on the Workflow Editor.
To view the analytics data for a published workflow:
- On the Admin Dashboard, look for the published workflow, then click Edit.
- On the Workflow Editor, click the Data tab on the top right, then click the Analytics tab that appears to the left.
- Select the workflow version, if applicable, from the list. Otherwise, skip to Step 4.
- The number of starts and completions, the percentage of completions, and the average time, and shortest and longest execution times of the workflow are displayed at the bottom.
Viewing and Generating a Completion Report
A completion report shows the amount of users who did/did not make it to certain nodes in the workflow. This report shows the number as well as percentage of users who drop out at each node in the workflow.
You can use a completion report to identify workflow nodes that require improvement. You can then take steps to improve the workflow and release an updated version. Then generate another report to see if there are still issues with the nodes and/or workflow completion has improved. You may have to go through this process a few times until you are satisfied with the workflow.
To view and/or generate a new completion report:
- On the Admin Dashboard, look for the published workflow, then click Edit.
- On the Workflow Editor, click the Data tab on the top-right, then click the Analytics tab that appears to the left.
- On the Analytics page, click New Completion Report to view the report on-screen.
- By default, the report shows all completions from the date the selected workflow version was published up to the current date. You may enter another date range to narrow down the report.
- To save the report, click Save Report. You will see a message on the top right once the report has been saved. Saved reports are displayed under the Completion Report section of the Analytics page. To download the report as a PDF file, click Download PDF.
- Once the report is saved or downloaded, click Analytics on the top left to go back to the Analytics page. If you save a report in Step 5, you will see the saved report listed under the Completion Report section of the page.
Viewing and Generating a Time Report
A time report shows the average amount of time it took users to get through each node in the workflow.
You can use a time report to identify and address roadblocks in your workflow nodes. After releasing a new workflow version, and ensuring that your users have used it for some time, generate another time report to see if there are still issues with the nodes. You may have to go through this process a few times until you are satisfied with the workflow.
To view and/or generate a new time report:
- On the Admin Dashboard, look for the published workflow, then click Edit.
- On the Workflow Editor, click the Data tab on the top-right, then click the Analytics tab that appears to the left.
- On the Analytics page, click New Time Report to view the report on-screen.
- To save the report, click Save Report. You will see a message on the top right once the report has been saved. Saved reports are displayed under the Time Report section of the Analytics page. To download the report as a PDF file, click Download PDF. Generated PDF reports are saved to the default download folder on your PC.
- Once the report is saved or downloaded, click Analytics on the top left to go back to the Analytics page. If you save a report in Step 4, you will see the saved report listed under the Time Report section of the page.
